Prof. Dr. Udhab Raj Khadka

You are welcome to the Central Department of Environmental Science (CDES), Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur. Central Department of Environmental Science (CDES) was established in 2001 with an objective to produce technically sound and competent human resources in the field of Environmental Science and Technology. CDES envisions becoming a Centre of Excellence upholding scientific values and social responsibility which has excellent faculty members and dedicated staff. It offers Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs in Environmental Science, and recent addition of MSc in Environmental Health in Disaster (EHD).

Being in a serene environment with plenty of natural settings, students find it a place to grow their knowledge in a peaceful environment. The nature of the courses offered by the CDES, and involvement of students in the research activities help them grow skills, knowledge, and deep understanding to achieve their goals. CDES is dedicated to excel in the field of environmental science to generate knowledge in solving the growing environmental problems both locally and globally.
