Bharat Prasad Bhandari successfully defended his PhD thesis (Viva Voce Examination) today (2080 Asoj 10; 27 September 2023) at the Central Department of Environmental Science, Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University. The title of the thesis was 'Characterization of Landslide Hazards in the Sub Himalayan Zone of Nepal'. His supervisor is Dr. Subodh Dhakal, Associate Professor of Geology, Tri-Chandra Campus, Tribhuvan University. The external examiner was Prof. Dr. Dandapani Adhikari.

The defense program was Chaired by the Dean of IoST, Prof. Dr. Binil Aryal, facilitated by Dr. Surendra Kumar Gautam, Assistant Dean of IoST and conducted by Prof. Dr. Chhatra Mani Sharma, Head of the Department.
